Overnight Travel Shimla (Delhi to Shimla)

Board your overnight semi-sleeper bus from Delhi to Shimla. Acclimatize to the cool mountain breeze as you head towards the hills.

Shimla to Sangla, Rakcham, Chitkul

Drive from Shimla along the Sutlej river through the stunning Kinnaur Valley. Cross the majestic rock-carved Kinnaur Gate and navigate the historic Tranda Dhank. Arrive in the beautiful valleys of Sangla and Rakcham, and check in at Chitkul, the last village on the Indo-Tibetan border.

Chitkul to Tabo

Bid farewell to Chitkul and drive deeper into the cold-desert region. Visit the iconic Hindustan Last Village board. Cross the Khab Sangam, where the Spiti and Sutlej rivers meet, and witness the frozen Nako Lake. Arrive in the quiet town of Tabo, famous for its ancient clay-molded monastery.

Tabo to Kaza

Explore the ancient Tabo Monastery, dating back to 996 AD. Visit Giu Monastery to witness the naturally mummified remains of a 500-year-old Buddhist monk. Take a winter hike near Dhankar Lake and enjoy a unique experience drinking tea at a local Ice Cafe.

Kaza Local Sightseeing

Spend the day exploring Kaza's iconic nearby sites. Visit the majestic Kee Monastery, the largest monastery in Spiti, standing like a fortress. Cross the breathtaking Chicham Bridge, suspended over a 1,000-ft deep canyon, and visit Komic, the world's highest motorable village.

High Villages (Hikkim, Komic, Langza)

Drive to the highest inhabited villages in the world. Visit Hikkim to send a postcard from the World's highest Post Office. Continue to Komic, the highest motorable village in the world, and visit Langza to see the giant golden Buddha statue gazing over the snow-covered peaks.

Kaza to Kalpa

Begin your return journey, driving back down the valley towards Kinnaur. Arrive in Kalpa, a beautiful village nestled in apple orchards. Experience a perfect, stunning view of the sacred Kinnaur Kailash range at sunset.

Kalpa to Shimla

Drive back from Kalpa to Shimla, enjoying the changing landscapes from high rocky cliffs to lush green pine hills. Board your overnight transport back to Delhi.
